What time is check-in?

Check-in time starts at 3PM. You are welcome to store your bags ahead of then. We are able to coordinate late check-ins.


What time is check-out?

Check-out is at 11AM. You are welcome to store your bags and enjoy the common spaces before your departure. 


Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?

Yes, on a case by case basis. Please contact us after booking to inquire if this is possible.


Do you have a front desk?

We do not have a front desk. Our resident innkeeper manages all operations and is always available in person or by phone.


Is there wi-fi?

Yes, we offer free wi-fi available throughout the house.


Are there televisions in the rooms?

No, we do not have televisions in our rooms, but we have plenty of board games, books, magazines, and good company. We also feature a small gallery of rotating local art.


Is breakfast included? What do you offer?

Breakfast is included in the cost of your stay from 8-10AM. We always offer yogurt, granola, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, toast, butter, condiments, juice, coffee, and tea, along with an alternating daily sweet or savory entree. We are able to cater to all dietary restrictions.


Do you offer drinks and snacks outside of breakfast hours?

Yes, we have beverages and snacks available 24/7 in our dining room.


Can I cook and store food?

Yes, we have a communal guest kitchen and refrigerator where you can prepare meals and store groceries. We are conveniently located next to a Whole Foods and a package store where you can make purchases.


Can I wash and iron my clothes?

We offer wash/dry for $5 cash per load along with shared ironing facilities for you to use.


Do you offer toiletries?

Our shared and private bathrooms are stocked with communal shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We are conveniently located next to a CVS where you can make purchases.


Where can I access public transportation?

Boston’s public transportation system is known as the MBTA. We are convenient to the Green Line (Heath Street), Orange Line (Jackson Square), and 39 bus (Perkins Street @ South Huntington).


Can I catch a cab?

We are happy to call you a cab, but we encourage you to use rideshare apps like Uber or Lyft which are more convenient in our area. We are happy to help you download these apps if you do not already have them and offer a discount codes for your first rides.


What about parking?

We have two parking spaces available on a first-come first-served basis. There is free street parking available with the exception of some mornings when there is street cleaning from 8-12.


Are there restaurants nearby?

We are conveniently located within a 5 minute walk of numerous excellent restaurants with even more options just a 15 minute walk into downtown Jamaica Plain. Menus are available for your reference.


Are there stores nearby?

Downtown Jamaica Plain hosts numerous local shops and restaurants for you to peruse.


Do you have advice for what to do during our stay?

We have several guidebooks and numerous brochures available for your reference. Our helpful resident innkeeper can provide additional advice.


A Few More Notes...


Smoking is not allowed on the property.


Pets are not allowed on the property with the exception of ADA-approved service animals.


You may be charged for missing or damaged items, so please respect our space.


Quiet hours are from 10PM-8AM, so please be mindful that we observe these strictly.


Our reservations are non-refundable from the time of booking.


Guests traveling under the age of 18 require a parental guardian to accompany them.


We offer pack-and-plays for young children at no charge - please provide advanced notice.
